Vision Learning Center
Our clinic’s affiliated Vision Learning Center has provided vision therapy for over 30 years, continuously integrating new technologies and processes as new research emerges. Many visual challenges cannot be treated with glasses or medicine alone. That’s where vision therapy comes in.
Vision therapy is similar to physical therapy, but it specifically targets the function of your visual system. Vision is part sensory and part motor, and develops over many years. Sometimes, interruptions in development occur and impact the visual system, causing errors in how our vision functions.
The purpose of vision therapy is the restore and rehabilitate vision, whether from a developmental or congenital difficulty, or from a vision disorder brought on by trauma or stroke. We incorporate tools, games, and activities that help develop or restore visual perception and spatial development.
